Prescription For Your USB Woes Dr. Bott's USB gHub Reviewed
- I was slow to adopt USB. Initially, this was due to
the fact that my main production machine, a PowerBook
G3/266, was from Apple's pre-USB days. I recently gave
up on the PowerBook and "upgraded" to a Blue
and White G3 system. As my collection of USB devices
started to grow, it soon became apparent that two USB
ports was simply not enough.

Press: Hooray For Hollywood! - Final Draft Gets Spiffied
Up For Mac OS X Including Some New Killer Features
- Just a few scant months ago I reviewed Final Draft
5 for MacReviewZone, and despite some reservations I
found it to be a superb piece of software suitable for
the beginning or advanced screenwriter. Perhaps
the greatest drawback to the upgrade was a lack of native
support for Mac OS X, but the Final Draft folks promised
a revision soon, and I was willing to wait patiently.
Since then, we have experienced a major upgrade to OS
X that has made it a prime time operating system, and
I was surprised to see a message in my email about a
new, native version of Final Draft
Transcribe!
5.0 - I will admit right up front that I am musically
illiterate. I play several instruments moderately well,
but will break in to a cold sweat if you put me in front
of a written score, preferring instead to learn new
tunes by ear. The problem with this approach, of course,
is that fast or complex tunes can be difficult or impossible
so pick apart. Enter Transcribe! 5.0 which lets you
slow down a tune without changing the pitch.
